There are all sorts of occasions when a Snapshot Stories™™ book will be a cherished gift: anniversaries, retirements, weddings, new baby, family reunions, and, of course, the holidays. You can also use occasions when family and friends are together to select your photos and capture the stories within them. You can create a series of books, focusing on different eras or aspects of your most interesting life.

Here’s how it works

• I’ll give you a custom-designed workbook and show you how to use it to select, organize and write about the photos to include in your book. You’ll have an easy fill-in-the-blanks form on which to record identifying information [who-where-when-what] as well as memory cues and writing prompts to help you tell the deeper story within the photo.  You’ll also get guidance on writing a one-page introduction that will let generations still unborn know something about you and why you created this book. And I’m just a phone call or email away if you have questions.

• Then you return the workbook to me with your photos and stories. If you’re within range, I can pick it up in person. Otherwise, I’ll give you the specific information you need to ship the book to me via FedEx.

• I’ll carefully scan your photos, enhance and retouch them as appropriate, typeset your text, and layout a professionally designed book.

• Then I’ll send you an online proof [.pdf format] to review and approve.

• Once you’ve approved the book, I’ll place the order with my printing service.

• Soon after that, you’ll receive the first set of your books, along with a DVD containing digital images of all the photos included.

• Finally, I’ll set up an online store where the books can be viewed online and made available for purchase by anyone—or by only those you invite. Books can be ordered one at a time; volume discounts begin on orders of 10 or more.
